We stand at the forefront of the battle against diseases like tungiasis and podoconiosis, striving to create a healthier and more resilient future for those most vulnerable.

Focus Areas:

Tungiasis: IFOTRODE is actively engaged in research, treatment, and prevention strategies to combat tungiasis, a parasitic skin infestation caused by the female sand flea. By leveraging scientific advancements and community engagement, we aim to alleviate the suffering caused by this neglected disease.

Podoconiosis: Our initiatives target the prevention and treatment of podoconiosis, a debilitating non-infectious disease resulting from prolonged exposure to irritant minerals in certain soils. IFOTRODE is committed to raising awareness, providing medical interventions, and fostering sustainable solutions to eliminate podoconiosis in endemic regions.
